Externally, it must be recognized, she is just magnificent. It's a JAM Pedals, it has a hand painted finish. Each pedal will therefore be slightly different from one copy to another. As for the controls, well your ankle will do a lot of the work! There is also a rotary switch that will modify the sweep range of the pedal and therefore the width of the frequency spectrum it will cover.

Inside, we have a high quality PCB which only confirms the great care that our Greek friends bring to the manufacture of these pretty colorful pedals. There is a RED Fasel inductor, Carbon-Comp type resistors, a small LED to see if the effect is working and a trimmer that will allow you to adjust the input gain. Note, the Wahcko is True-Bypass, it does not include a buffer, which will allow it to be placed before a Germanium Fuzz or any other pedal sensitive to impedance variations.

In use, the Wahcko does not distort your original signal and does not cause noise like many wahs. It benefits from an extended frequency range and a very progressive curve. The main difference with other wahs on the market: it is extremely vocal! There is a very articulated and at the same time fluid and natural side that comes out of this "filter". With the Wahcko, you speak, you simply express yourself! Icing on the pompom, all of this is adjustable to your liking thanks to the rotary knob.
The JAM Pedals Wahcko is clearly one of the best Wah pedals on the market thanks to its extremely intelligible sound and its little extras here and there, which make all the difference. A must of its kind!
